Venice

Italian pizza. Best dinner ever!

This trip keeps getting better and better.  I feel so spoiled and lucky.  Each day is incredible and I love making priceless memories.  Venice lived up to all the hype it’s been given.  I had a constant smile on my face as I walked through the streets with the canals and gondolas running through.  We took a gondola ride to see more of the city and walked around. I will make sure to come back here again.  Venice is a magical, romantic city and I feel in love with it. 

Highlight:

-Eating the most incredible sausage pizza and pasta.  I was savoring every bite.

-Standing in San Marco Square listing to a professional band play the most gorgeous music while we were surrounded by beautiful buildings.  I just stood there standing trying to soak it all in. 

Lowlight:

-I pulled my back muscle while carrying my 70 lb. suitcase, a heavy backpack, and duffel bag over the Alla Formatia Bridge.   I wish I was a light packer! 

-We got to Venice three hours later than planned because we missed our train. We woke up early the next morning to make up for lost time. I’m just glad we got to go there! 

I loved their music.   My favorite is hearing an
accordion while singing.  A true Europe experience.
